The Road King has been a popular model since first being introduced in 1994. The Road King’s roots go all the way back to the first FL model in 1941. Not only has it been popular to the civilian side of motorcycles, but it has also made it’s mark in Police and Fire Departments around the United States.
In 1984 when we were first introduced to the Softail, it very quickly became one of the most successful platforms with having a modern day bike that was given an old school style. The Softail is styled to look like a traditional hard-tail design, but with the suspension underneath to give it a clean look.
The Street Glide has been a very popular model ever since 2006 when it was first introduced. Willie G. Davidson designed the bike to be his personal ride. Many people like the Street Glide for the fact that it is a touring bike, but not a full touring bike, meaning it doesn’t have the extra weight of a trunk and leg protectors.
